How To Update Customer Phone Number
A Customer Phone Number ensures that active customers receive notices and information on billings from time to time as long as service is being provided to the customer.
Therefore, if an active Customer Phone Number becomes inactive , it is required that the customer reports it as a complaint for his or her Customer Phone Number to be updated .
Updating Customer Phone Number can be done CRA on the Management Console.
Step 1:
Login with the required credentials to access the Management Console.
This is done by visiting analytics.subsenterprise.com and providing the required email and password.
Step 2:
Locate the “Service Point Tab” on the side navigation bar and click on it.
NB: Service Point Tab displays a list of all customers.
From the list of service points available the dashboard allows you to initiate a search for the particular service point( customer) who’s contact is to be updated.
Beside the search box is a search filter which allows you to make a single input of either “Customer Number”, “Account Number”, “Service Point Number”, “Geo Code”, or "Meter Number” and search the customer using the right information for the selected search filter.
Click on the particular service point(customer) that requires the phone number update to proceed after the search result displays .
Step 3:
The Customer’s details pop up. Personal and contact details of the customer are shown. Beneath the pop up display is an Update Customer button . Click on the “Update Customer” button below.
Step 4:
From the list of menu displays, Update Contact, Update Identity, Update Tariff, Suspend , Terminate are lists of updates that can be performed on a Service Point(customer).
Customer Phone Number lies within the contact information of the service point (customer).
From the list of actions that pops up when the “update customer” button is clicked, select Update Contact from the list of actions.
Step 5:
A form is displayed for the CRA to fill to complete the Contact Update process.
Provide the required information to successfully update customer’s contact information(phone number).
In order to edit the customer’s phone number, select the phone number within the forms displayed and type in a new phone number.
After the new phone number has been provided, provide a reason for change in the box before you click on the “Save Changes” button to complete the process.
